About The Position

Trinity Health Livingston Hospital in Howell serves the health care needs of Livingston County residents and is dedicated to providing them with the highest quality of care and safety. Trinity Health Livingston Hospital is Livingston County’s only full-service hospital, offering the latest technology with a highly skilled and compassionate medical staff. This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team, supporting the 10-bed 3 South surgical unit and/or the 19-bed acuity adaptable blended unit. This role will also support the Critical Care Unit, and candidates with CCU or PCU/Step-Down experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Graduation from a school of nursing that results in the ability of the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS
• ACLS required for PCU at Livingston
• RN experience in a hospital setting
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• Must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire or transfer to an RN role (effective January 1, 2013 for all new hires)
• Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age specific needs
• Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families
• Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of job description
• Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care
• CCU or PCU/Step-Down experience (encouraged to apply)
