Registered Nurse - Cancer Center - Days
About The Position
Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
Requirements
- Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
- Education: Associate's in Nursing, required.
- Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association, required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred
- OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
- Oncology and/or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred.
