This position is for nurses who enjoy building long-term relationships with patients. Nurses on unit 7B at Atrium Health assist in maintaining implanted cardiac devices and conduct follow-up visits with patients using these devices. The role seeks a teammate who values quality, ongoing nurse-to-patient relationships and enjoys cardiac care. The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This individual will also direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver age/developmentally appropriate care, adhering to nursing standards of care and practice, and meeting the requirements for a Registered Nurse III.
