About The Position

Saint Luke's East Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. Position: Registered Nurse – CVRU Schedule: Full Time, 36 Hours/Week – Days Join a dynamic and collaborative cardiac and critical care team where your expertise and clinical judgement truly make a difference. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures, as well as managing acute and critical diagnoses. The RN functions with a high degree of clinical judgement, accountability, and critical thinking while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Patient Population & Clinical Focus The RN will care for patients with, but not limited to: Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) Pacemaker placement Peripheral vascular procedures Interventional radiology (IR) procedures Respiratory failure DKA/insulin drips Post–STEMI recovery Other acute and complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department. #LI-MS2

Requirements

  • Less than 1 year Applicable Experience
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Associate Degree
