PRIMARY DUTIES: Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with provider orders, nursing standards, and organizational policies. Perform comprehensive and focused nursing assessments, interpret findings, and develop nursing care plans. Exercise independent clinical judgment and escalate care concerns appropriately. Assist providers with examinations, procedures, implementation, and documentation of care. Prepare and administer clinic-approved medications and vaccines per provider orders and policy (oral, IM, IV, Sub-Q, SL, intradermal). Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results per protocol. Perform patient treatments and procedures including venipuncture, nebulization, catheterization, ear lavage, dressing changes, unna boot application, and IV hydration. OTHER DUTIES: Provide initial and ongoing patient education, assess learning needs, and document education provided. Reinforce education provided by other team members. Coordinate care across the interdisciplinary team. Monitor work queues for labs, diagnostics, referrals, and orders. Serve as a clinical resource and support for CNAs, CMAs, and LVNs. Participate in orientation, competency validation, staff meetings, and quality improvement activities. Other duties as assigned by supervisor
