About The Position
Atrium Health Cleveland Emergency Department provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Cleveland County and surrounding communities. From broken bones and severe cuts to heart attacks and strokes, we are prepared to provide patients of all ages the highest level of emergency care. Our expert staff includes physicians who are board-certified in emergency medicine. -36 treatment bed, Level III trauma center: Patients get 24-hour coverage by emergency medicine physicians and resources for resuscitation, surgery and intensive care for trauma patients -Chest pain center: Patients can be assured our staff has demonstrated expertise and commitment to quality that meets or exceeds stringent criteria -On-call medical specialists available for consultation' Atrium Health Cleveland in Shelby is a 241-bed hospital serving greater Cleveland County, NC, and the surrounding region. We were the first Level III trauma center in NC, offering advanced emergency care. We strive every day to bring advanced care to the community. Job Summary The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support required per policy guidelines.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.
