About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide acute care nephrology services in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions across various hospital units such as ICU, CCU, and ED. It is a fast-paced, highly collaborative position where the RN will work directly with patients, monitor their condition, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes, supported by PCTs. No prior dialysis experience is required as paid training will be provided. The role involves working in a variety of hospital units and rotating between facilities as needed, with a schedule that includes regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and daily schedules that may change based on patient needs.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice
ADN required
Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)
Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
CNN/CDN certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
