About The Position

We focus on delivering high-quality care to the energy worker community.We’re seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse contractor to provide in-home care. This 1099 Independent Contractor role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work outside traditional clinical settings.

Requirements

Compact RN License in good standing required.
Ability to travel for week-long assignments as required.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
CPR Certification required.
Independent contractor status – you will manage your own schedule and work as an independent professional.
Malpractice insurance is required.
Ability to pass a full background check.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential in providing top-tier care.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to various patient needs

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with medical software and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients in their home setting, ensuring a high level of comfort and safety.
Execute plan of care directives accurately and in accordance with physician’s orders.
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior to the case manager or healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
Collaborate with case manager and physicians to ensure optimal patient care, including communication with specialists as needed.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and proper care management techniques.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and provide detailed progress notes to the case manager regularly.
Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the course of care.
Assist with ADLs as necessary, ensuring the patient’s comfort and dignity at all times.
Prepare and provide clinical notes and charting to clients' case managers on the patient’s overall progress, including any changes in condition or care needs.
