About The Position

Performs initial assessment, prepares patient for appropriate surgical/special procedure and their visit with anesthesia. Acts as a liaison between anesthesia, operative team and family. Provides pre- operative care and support of patient and family.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a Degree in Nursing.
• BLS required upon hire.
• Encompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical information which includes nursing process, communication and problem solving, assessment and prioritizing skills.
