About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is central to ProMedica’s patient care team, providing patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diverse human experiences. ProMedica nurses are committed to improving health outcomes for patients and communities. The RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care, engaging with patients, families, and the healthcare team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. Responsibilities include assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses, and planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans. This role involves collaborative work with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction. Requirements

Current State license as a Registered Nurse
Current CPR training
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units
Complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period (for RNs in Ohio)
At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules (for RNs in Ohio)
