Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Experience may include: Home Health, LTAC, Skilled Nursing Facility, Outpatient Rehab, or Corrections. Acute Care experience is NOT required.
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN compact license. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Certifications: BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. (NIHSS training requirements supported by national certification guidelines.)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient‑centered nursing care according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments following clinical guidelines.
• Support patient and family education for ongoing care and health maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
