We are seeking a RN to join our Community Medicine Neurology clinic located at 13100 E 136th Street, Suite 3300, Fishers, IN 46037. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays required. The role is primarily onsite; however, after completing training, the RN may work remotely one day per week. Key responsibilities include triaging incoming phone calls and portal messages, managing patient symptoms, handling prescription requests, processing forms, and providing general clinical support for multiple providers. Additional duties involve assisting with training medical assistants, managing nurse visit schedules for injections and blood pressure checks, and educating patients on self-administering medications at home. This position does not require travel to other sites.

Requirements

  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
