About The Position
Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is seeking Registered Nurses to join their Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Memory Care units. Compass Park is a large 320-acre community located in Franklin, IN, within Johnson County, adjacent to Indianapolis. It is described as a vibrant and beautiful community with tall trees and winding footpaths.
Requirements
- Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license and CPR certification.
- Experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care, or other related health care facility supervisory/management skills required.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents and provide support to the resident according to the care plan.
- Contribute to the care planning process by providing the Unit Manager or other care planning staff with specific information and observations of the residents’ needs and preferences.
- Lead, direct, and supervise the certified nursing assistants and assure completion of their duties and documentation.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
- Report pertinent changes in residents to the MD/NP/PA. Inform Unit Manager of significant changes and/or issues on the unit.
