About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide acute care nephrology services in a hospital setting. This role involves delivering dialysis care to patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions across various hospital units such as ICU, CCU, and ED. It is a fast-paced, highly collaborative position where the RN will work directly with patients, monitor their conditions, adjust treatments, and ensure quality outcomes, supported by PCTs. The role includes paid training, no prior dialysis experience is required, and involves rotating between facilities with a schedule that includes regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, adapting to patient needs.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required
- Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
- CNN/CDN certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
- Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
- Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
- Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
- Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
