Care is provided to these residents via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. The RN will be competent to provide resident care according to the specific needs of the population as defined in the unit-specific addendum.

Requirements

  • Active Florida RN License or a Multistate license
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) – through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program
  • Must have a clear background check & AHCA Level 2 screening as well as pass a drug screening
  • LTC (Long Term Care experience) at least 2 years
  • 3 - Twelve (12) hour shifts per week (rotating weekends) Day Shift: 7am to 7:30pm Night Shift: 7pm to 7:30am
  • PRN Plan 1: requires a minimum of one shift per pay period, no weekends/holidays required
  • PRN Plan 2: requires a minimum of 48 hours worked per pay period, holiday/weekend shifts required
