For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com. We are seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our on-site Health Center team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will provide high-quality, compassionate care to client employees in a fast-paced workplace health setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for wellness and a commitment to promoting a healthy work environment. The position offers a flexible schedule, with hours varying between Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for a total of approximately 20 to 21 hours per week. Requirements

  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites

Responsibilities

  • Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
  • Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
  • Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
  • Performs other duties as assigned
