Heartline Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Clinical Decision Unit supporting cardiac and medical-cardiology patients requiring short-stay observation and inpatient care. This progressive care environment focuses on patients with acute cardiac conditions and post-procedural monitoring, providing nurses the opportunity to practice at a higher acuity level within a collaborative team setting. The Registered Nurse assumes primary accountability for the coordination and delivery of individualized patient care. Responsibilities include performing age-appropriate assessments, developing and revising interdisciplinary plans of care, administering treatments and medications, and documenting care accurately in electronic medical record systems. Nurses in this unit utilize critical thinking, delegation, and teamwork to promote safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. A structured orientation program is provided to support learning and transition into the unit, with ACLS training obtained within the first year of employment. Schedule: Day, evening, and night shifts available. Primarily day/evening coverage with weekend requirement. Compensation: Hourly pay ranges from $30.47 to $45.71 based on experience. Sign-on bonus available up to $30,000 for experienced RNs or up to $20,000 for other qualified RN candidates.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or approved nursing program eligible for Virginia licensure
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain Virginia licensure
  • CPR certification required
  • Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications as required
  • Computer proficiency required for electronic medical record documentation
  • Successful completion of orientation and competency requirements
  • Ability to meet essential job functions
