Work with a dedicated and caring organization and start doing your life's best work. Registered Nurse (1099) Pay rate : $58.00 per hour (1099). Hours : 3P-11P (5 Days a week, every other weekend). Location : 256 Sunset Lake Road, Liberty, NY, 12754 Job Description: The work involves responsibility for providing skilled nursing care requiring substantial specialized judgment in accordance with a prescribed nursing care plan. The work is performed under general supervision with leeway for independently performing nursing care duties. Supervision may be exercised over Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides and other subordinate staff. Typical work activities would include, but are not limited to, assessing patient nursing care needs and preparing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care plan, giving skilled nursing care and prescribed treatments to patients, identifying physical and emotional illness of patients through observations and analysis of records, coordinating plans of care with nutritionists, social workers, physical therapists, physicians and other professional health workers, counseling and guiding families in the prevention of illness, etc.

Requirements

  • possession of a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State
