A Brief Overview The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of nursing care based on standards of care and professional nursing practice: accountable for the outcomes of nursing care delivered. What you will do Assesses, utilizing age specific data, the patient’s physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status in a comprehensive manner. Performs initial and ongoing assessment including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention. Completes required documentation within organizational standards. Participates in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning, to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Incorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes. Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing. (ADN) Required
• Registered Nurse - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation in good standing with South Carolina Board of Nursing. Required
• Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. (BSN) Preferred
• Master's Degree in Nursing. (MSN) Preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care critical care setting.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certified - American Heart Association Preferred
• Works with patients, families, physicians, and other health care providers.
