About The Position

Santa Cruz Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team for our NOC shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). We are a resident‑centered, high‑quality post‑acute care facility committed to providing exceptional clinical care and creating a positive environment for both residents and staff. Requirements

  • Valid California RN License (required)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident‑centered care

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in skilled nursing or post‑acute care preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
  • Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
  • Collaborate with LVNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent care
  • Maintain accurate electronic and written documentation
  • Uphold infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times
  • Support residents and families with professionalism, empathy, and respect
