About The Position
Santa Cruz Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing team for our NOC shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). We are a resident‑centered, high‑quality post‑acute care facility committed to providing exceptional clinical care and creating a positive environment for both residents and staff. Requirements
- Valid California RN License (required)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident‑centered care
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or post‑acute care preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes
- Collaborate with LVNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent care
- Maintain accurate electronic and written documentation
- Uphold infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times
- Support residents and families with professionalism, empathy, and respect
