About The Position

As a part-time Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate is clinically competent, detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in performing IV insertions and managing intravenous therapies and intramuscular injections. In addition, this position will support various projects needed by the medical team.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and IV therapy management
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in integrative and/or functional medicine
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Very patient centric and provide concierge level communications and service
  • Highly organized and values the importance of well-defined processes and procedures.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of IV solutions, drug interactions, and aseptic techniques.
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and IV pumps.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to change, is a self-starter, isa critical thinker.
  • Has outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (will be required to succeed).
  • Models a servant leadership style of working with others.
  • Is able to balance that with the need for action and decision-making when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document finding accurately
  • Mix IV medications or solutions following strict protocols and safety guidelines
  • Ensure proper labeling of IV bags and syringes
  • Initiate and maintain IV access(peripheral IV insertion required)
  • Administer IV fluids, medications, and treatments per provider orders
  • Monitor patients during and after IV therapy for adverse reactions
  • Administer IM injections, medications, and treatments per provider orders
  • Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and after care
  • Sterilize and prepare IV equipment to avoid contamination
  • Maintain accurate and timely charting in EMR
  • Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Follow the defined SOPs for IVs and IM Injections
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within scope of practice
  • Assimilate into The Love.Life culture through understanding, supporting, and participating in all elements of company core values and tenets.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Love.Life from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
  • Attendance standard for salaried exempt team members is dedicating adequate time to fulfill the duties outlined in this job description equal to, or more than 40 hours per workweek.
  • Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the business.
