About The Position

Adelphi is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to provide professional nursing services on a contract basis at a facility in Granville County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and care for adolescents in a structured setting. Requirements

Active North Carolina RN License
Current BLS certification
Ability to work independently as the sole medical provider when required
Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional, or emergency nursing
Basic computer skills; ability to use Microsoft Teams or WebEx
Proficiency with PointClickCare electronic charting
Must complete orientation (virtual or in-person, followed by facility tour)

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care within the full scope of RN practice, with a focus on adolescents
Administer prescribed medications safely and in compliance with regulations
Monitor and document changes in patients’ medical conditions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with protocols
Collaborate closely with direct care staff to ensure continuity of care
Work independently as the sole nurse on-site during parts of the shift while collaborating with staff
Promote health, safety, and wellness in a secure environment
Comply with all facility security rules and procedures
Participate in required trainings and virtual meetings, remaining visible on camera as directed
Perform other duties as assigned
