About The Position

At Saint Francis Hospital the Neuroscience Unit provides multidisciplinary care to patients with neurological conditions such as acute stroke, transient ischemic attacks, seizure disorders & epilepsy.
What you will do
In this critical Registered Nurse RN role you will monitor, record and respond to patients’ clinical status.
Assisting with hyperacute and acute treatment and support and encourage rehabilitation.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
• Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• Certification: BLS preferred
• 1 or more years of relevant acute inpatient nursing experience
• This role is not designed for new graduates or RNs with less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Benefits

• Will work 24 hours from 7:00 pm Friday thru 7:30 am Monday but will be paid for 30 hours per week.
• All shifts will be every weekend, plus holidays if a holiday lands on a weekend.
• All colleagues will be paid a special shift differential for the 24 hours worked and an additional bonus totaling 6 hours of their base rate for non-worked hours. Also eligible for shift differentials during 24 hours worked
