About The Position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - Centennial as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients of all acuities, ages, and stages of life. The Emergency Department leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The unit has 21 beds, handles 20k visits per year, and is a Level III Trauma Center, Primary Heart Attack Center, and Primary Stroke Center. It also offers in-house L&D services and boasts a 56% certification rate from the Board Certification of Emergency Nursing (BCEN) and 100% Board Certified Emergency Physicians. The unit maintains strong engagement through an active Shared Governance Council. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Centennial is a full-service 118-bed hospital serving Frisco and surrounding communities, with over 600 specialists. Services include digestive care, labor and delivery, heart health, emergency and trauma care, surgical services, orthopedics, intensive care, and internal medicine. It is the only Level III Trauma Center in Frisco and is certified as a Primary Stroke and Primary Heart Attack Center. The facility is also the first Level III Maternal facility in Frisco with a NICU Level II designation, demonstrating dedication to quality perinatal care. Requirements

Grad of an Accredited Program
Specialized field of study should be nursing
RN license
Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role
2 years ED RN experience
