About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent night shift position in Canton, Texas. This is a strong secondary market that performs well for nurses seeking higher night-shift pay, autonomy, and consistent scheduling in post-acute care.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Texas RN license.
- Ability to work consistent overnight shifts.
- Strong assessment and leadership skills.
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab experience.
- Prior night shift or charge nurse experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care during overnight shifts.
- Perform resident assessments and clinical decision-making.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Respond to overnight clinical issues and emergencies.
- Coordinate with on-call providers and leadership as needed.
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs as applicable.
- Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
