WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm schedule working in a Cardiology Service line IHP is a great place to work, with caring leadership, supportive coworkers, strong triage training, competitive pay, and a fun culture with regular spirit days, food, and activities In-Person position Work with physicians, nurses, and patients to answer questions about medications, health education, and medical advice within your scope of practice Help patients schedule appropriate appointments Maintain accurate records of all patient and physician communications Retrieve and respond to phone messages promptly based on medical priority Document all incoming calls following department procedures Follow up on patient requests in a timely manner Submit new prescriptions and refills electronically or by fax as ordered by the physician Serve as a resource for clinic staff on medical information, patient assessment, and nursing care Scan documents as needed Obtain pre‑certifications and prior authorizations Provide test results to patients

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
  • 1 year Nursing/Patient Care in acute care or ambulatory settings
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

Responsibilities
