A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse at The Arc Wayne: Assesses health related needs of individuals. Coordinates with health care providers, service providers, clinical and program staff to meet individual's health related needs. Functions as a member of individual's program planning team to ensure all medical/clinical and dietary needs are identified and provided for in each individual service plan Ensures that all medical/health concerns, treatments and recommendations are properly documented and follow-up is completed. Provides staff education and certification in health related areas to include but not limited to; general medical overview, medication administration certification, and diabetic certification. Requirements

Current valid NYS licensed Registered Nurse
Must possess a current, valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency driver standards

Responsibilities

Assesses health related needs of individuals.
Coordinates with health care providers, service providers, clinical and program staff to meet individual's health related needs.
Functions as a member of individual's program planning team to ensure all medical/clinical and dietary needs are identified and provided for in each individual service plan
