About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift Broadstep Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Night Shift (7pm–7am) at our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) in Kingstree, SC. This role is ideal for nurses who want to make a meaningful impact supporting individuals with behavioral health needs in a structured residential treatment environment. 💰 Competitive Pay + Shift Differentials for Nights and Weekends As a Night Shift RN, you will be responsible for providing nursing care, monitoring patient health status, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure safe and therapeutic care. Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
  • 1–3 years of nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based behavioral health environment
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, residential treatment, or acute care

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess patients’ health status and respond to changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
  • Document patient care, symptoms, and treatment responses accurately in medical records
  • Measure and record vital signs and other clinical observations
  • Identify abnormal diagnostic data and communicate findings to physicians and clinical staff
  • Review and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide therapeutic nursing care and interventions in a behavioral health environment
  • Respond to patient needs and ensure a safe, supportive treatment setting
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team
  • Communicate with patients’ families and support networks regarding care and aftercare instructions when appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
