About The Position

About the Role: As an ICU RN, you will: • Deliver both direct and indirect nursing care to critically ill patients with precision and empathy. • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of departmental and hospital policies to ensure the highest standard of emergency care. • Employ your interpretive skills and engage in frequent interactive and consultative associations with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred
• Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
• Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
• Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
• Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
• Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
• Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records
• RN - Registered Nurse
• BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• NIH - Stroke Certification
• RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program

Responsibilities

• Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes in collaboration with the health care team.
• Technical Skills.
• Critical Thinking.

• Equipment Operation.
• Initiative.
• Evaluates test results reported immediately. Assess patient safety facts and identifies those patients requiring specific safety devices.
• Documents patient assessments accurately and correctly within the specified time at admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Collects adequate and correct blood/urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment.
• Correctly labels specimens and processes.
• Ensures appropriate delivery of specimens to the lab via courier or specimen pick up from outside agencies.
• Educational needs of patient.
• Documents assessment on multidisciplinary form and modifies as needed.
