About The Position

Find your purpose as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at St. Cloud Hospital. As a PACU RN, you will care for patients of all ages before and after surgical procedures. This role includes working in the pre-operative area to ensure patients are properly prepared and safe to proceed to the operating room, as well as providing post-anesthesia care as patients recover from surgery. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to monitor patients as they awaken, ensuring stability prior to discharge or transfer back to their hospital room. This fast-paced environment requires strong critical-thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate from a nursing program and current RN licensure in MN required
  • BSN required within three years of hire
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 12 months of hire
  • To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
  • To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a full time or part time benefited position and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in ICU, CCU, or PACU settings preferred
  • Critical care experience in Hemodynamic monitoring and Basic EKG interpretation preferred
