About The Position

Registered Nurse - Tele/Progressive Care Full Time, Third Shift 7p-7a Sign on Bonus Eligible for new hire who has not worked for Baptist Health or its affiliates in the preceding 12 months. Prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Requirements

• Associate degree
• Current RN Licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and identification of all patient needs and utilizes EMR for passing of medications, and all care provided to patient.
• Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
• Establish and maintain a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
• Assure that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and follow physician orders related to all aspects of patient care.
