Work Shift: 8 Hours - Day Shifts (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 experience credit added to wage Union Position: No Department Details This is a fast paced clinic environment where nurses can use a variety of skills: triage, wound care, drug screens, breath alcohol screens, vaccinations, TB skin tests; seeing DOT exams, work injuries, pre-employment screening, exposures, FIT testing, pulmonary function testing, and audiograms. What is Occupational Medicine? Occupational Medicine is a specialized department that focuses on the health and safety of workers. We work to prevent and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, ensuring that workplaces are safe and healthy environments. We help keep employees healthy and productive, while also ensuring that employers comply with health and safety regulations. Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
