About The Position

Registered Nurse Job, 12 Day Night Shift, 7p-7:30a, IMCU Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for IMCU to work nights at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. The IMCU West unit is a multidisciplinary 24 hour unit located on the third floor of the Parkview Tower in the hospital.# Patients over the age of twelve years may be admitted to this unit, but the average age is 67 years.# The highest volume of patients has a medical diagnosis, but surgical patients are also admitted.# The most frequent diagnoses of include: angina, R/O or Post MI, cardiac dysrhythmia, CAD, COPD, CHF, pre-post PTCA, post stent, general surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring/observation post-op, diabetes, CVA, and peripheral vascular diseases. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
  • Obtains and maintains current certification as required in specialty areas.
  • Obtains and maintains current CPR.
