Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate required.
• Current ACLS certificate required.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC required.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required.
• Minimum of one year of RN ED experience required.
• In Paramedic Bas Station ED: MICN required.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) required.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
• BCLS upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintained current.
• Minimum of one year of RN Step Down experience required.
• Minimum of one year OF RN ICU experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care to patients with varying levels of illness and injury.
• Triage and quickly assess situations, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently in high-pressure environments.
• Cooperation with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Aid in resuscitative efforts, including CPR and the use of defibrillators.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for emergency interventions (e.g., intubation, central line placement).
• Assist in patient stabilization for conditions like trauma, cardiac arrest, and acute illnesses.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity level using triage protocols.
