About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse with a weekend option, offering a sign-on bonus. The primary shifts are Friday and Saturday from 3 PM to 3 AM, with an additional shift of the employee's choice on Tuesdays or any other day during the week. The staff nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across the entire lifecycle, utilizing established nursing processes for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. The role requires adherence to organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is also tasked with maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure the delivery of quality nursing care.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program
- New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients
- Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability
- Maintain standards of practice
- Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care
