About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be on our Carol Ball Medicine Unit (CBMU).  CBMU cares for medical/surgical and geriatrics, and dementia patients.  The staff on this unit are very innovated, collaborative, eager and upbeat!  Pilot quality improvement programs are often initiated on this unit. This unit promotes professional development and growth in your chosen career path. The Registered Nurse, RN, is responsible for independently planning, coordinating, and directing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients; coordinating the medical plan provided by support service departments relating to the assigned patients; identifying and implementing nursing interventions and evaluates results; and demonstrating developing leadership qualities. Requirements

  • RN license in Maryland or compact state
  • CPR (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (Required to be enroll in a BSN Program within one year of hire and complete the program within 5 years)
  • New Grad welcome to apply!

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a patient care tech or student nurse tech is helpful
