About The Position

Lakeview is seeking skilled and compassionate nursing professionals to join their team. The Lakeview LTAC Hospital specializes in caring for patients challenged with Traumatic Brain Injuries and other neurobehavioral and medically complex conditions. The goal of the Registered Nurse role is to provide direct program participant care and medical management for patients of all ages, focusing on TBI rehabilitation and intensive medical management services. Nurses will participate in the development of interdisciplinary treatment plans, assess patients' presenting problems, and integrate these assessments into individual plans of care, updating and evaluating them as necessary. Lakeview Specialty Hospital and Rehab is a Joint Commission Accredited and licensed long term acute care hospital (LTACH) and Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital (IRF) with 30 years of experience in medically complex care, neurobehavioral health, rehabilitation, and community supportive living. They have expertise in brain injury, rehabilitation, and complex respiratory care, helping patients achieve their highest level of healing and functional independence. The hospital is located on over 80 acres in a rural community outside of Milwaukee in Waterford, Wisconsin, offering peaceful grounds and a tenured, caring staff to support the healing and recovery process.

Requirements

RN (Required)
ACLS Required within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

Provide direct program participant care and medical management for program participant of all ages, TBI rehabilitation and intensive medical management services
Participate in the development of the interdisciplinary treatment plans or plans of care
Assess the persons served regarding presenting problems, and integrate assessed areas in individual plans of care and update and evaluate the plans as necessary
