Registered Nurse
About The Position
Seeking registered nurses to join Life Mobile Care. The registered nurse will take inbound calls, complete assessment and triage of patients symptoms. Must be able to use problem solving, critical thinking, and clinical judgement skills to arrive at appropriate disposition, which may include recommendation of emergency care, providing first aid instruction, offering patient education, coordinating Life Mobile Care resources and appointment scheduling. The registered nurse must exhibit excellent customer service and will be responsible for conducting outbound follow up calls and serve as a care coordinator assisting patients with recommended medical follow up and outpatient Life services.
Requirements
- Two years of recent acute care experience.
- Unrestricted New Jersey Nursing License.
- Current BLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Triage experience preferred.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of insurance information and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic records of patient interactions and triage decisions.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines for telephone triage and nursing practice.
- Maintain excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, x-ray technicians and medical assistants to ensure continuity of care.
