Their duties include monitoring vital signs, providing emergency response care and managing a patients life support system maintenance. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients by assessing their needs, developing nursing care plans, and administering care and treatment in accordance with the physician's directions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to patient safety and well-being.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and hospital practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • REGISTERED NURSE Licensure in good standing through State of Texas (required)
  • AHA BLS certification (required)
  • AHA ACLS certification within six (6) months of employment (required)
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (required)

Nice To Haves

  • ICU Registered Nurse experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and monitoring of patients progress and identification of any sudden or subtle changes in the patients medical condition
  • Administering medications intravenously by injection or via gastric tubes
  • Delivering regular updates of patients progress to doctors, patients, and their families
  • Performing approved diagnostic or therapeutic procedures according to the patients clinical status
  • Responding to health emergencies when called upon and alert appropriate doctors
  • Evaluating patients laboratory data and vital signs to determine emergency intervention needs
  • Caring for patient needs throughout their recovery journey in ICU
  • Advocating for patients and families needs
  • Providing emotional support to patients and their families
  • Setting up and monitoring medical equipment and devices like medical ventilators, oxygen delivery devices, transducers, and pressure lines.
  • Assessing patients pain level and sedation requirements
  • Maintaining patient records
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
  • Educate patients and their families on managing illnesses or injuries.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and patient records.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing procedures, and safety standards.
