As a Registered Nurse, you will administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.

Requirements

  • Professional nursing degree
  • Tennessee State Nursing licensure
  • Current BLS certification upon hire
  • At least one year of prior nursing experience
  • Experience performing venipuncture and accessing ports to administer treatment to patients
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines
  • Manual dexterity, proper hand-eye coordination, a full range of motion to assist with lifting patients, and corrected vision and hearing to normal range
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds or less

  • Chemo-Immuno certification
  • OCN certification

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.
  • Provide education on treatment to patients.
  • Provide emotional support to patients.
  • Provide excellent customer service to meet patient needs and make them feel comfortable.
  • Serve as a resource for patients and other clinical team members with in-depth knowledge of infection treatments.
  • Navigate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
  • Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines.
  • Communicate respectfully and promptly with team members.
  • Assist with additional tasks.
