Registered Nurse - Day Shift
About The Position

At Wood Violet Recovery, we’re more than a treatment center — we’re a safe, supportive space where healing begins and hope is restored. Located in the heart of southwest Wisconsin, our privately owned, voluntary residential program serves adults aged 18–64 with compassion, dignity, and purpose. We’re committed to helping individuals turn their addiction stories into lasting sobriety — and we need skilled, compassionate nurses to help make that possible. As a Day Shirt Registered Nurse (RN), you’ll play a vital role in both our SUD and mental health programs, providing medical support to clients through medication administration, lab processing, and treatment planning. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that includes clinical staff, LPNs, RNs, and medical providers — all working together to support each client’s recovery journey.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience (behavioral health/substance use preferred).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
- Ability to support and educate clients in early recovery.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and complete documentation.
- Assist with initial detox treatment and discharge planning.
- Educate clients on medications, health, and wellness.
- Collaborate with providers, RNs, LPNs, and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Communicate with families/support networks as needed.
- Respond to medical emergencies and support continuity of care.
