About The Position

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process: · RN functions in many different job roles such as but not limited to\: outpatient Interventional Radiology (IR) and Computed Tomography (CT) pre-op, outpatient IR and CT recovery, inpatient IR anesthesia recovery. · Float to CT for procedures needing moderate sedation, pre-procedure phone calls and order entry for IR and CT outpatients, and Albumin administrations . Worth, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104 · Magnet-designated regional referral center that has served the residents of Tarrant County and surroundings communities since 1930. · Work hours\: Full Time 40 hours per week, (4) 10-hour shifts 6\:00AM-4\:30PM or 7\:30AM-6PM, Monday-Friday, with self-scheduled call requirements. · Call is within 1-hour for this department Radiology Care Unit Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling of call that helps with work/life balance · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · Outpatient Interventional Radiology & CT Pre-Op and Recovery and Inpatient anesthesia recovery

Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program OR Nursing Diploma
  • CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency (required)
  • RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required
  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required within 90 days of hire
  • NIHSS - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 6 months Required.
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • Experience as a PACU/Recovery, ED or ICU RN Highly Preferred
