About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Registered Nurse - All Shifts at Tampa Bay Girls Academy in Tampa, Florida✨✨✨ Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure is comprised of multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk females' youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in related health care field
- possess a current Florida Registered Nursing license
Responsibilities
- responsible for the health care of the students in our care
- maintain all student medical files
- provide education to staff and students on health issues, first aid, infectious controls and emergency procedures
