About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where the RN will work directly with patients in various acute care units such as ICU, CCU, and ED. The position offers paid training, meaning no prior dialysis experience is required. The role involves working in a variety of hospital units and rotating between facilities as needed. The schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, encompassing weekends and holidays, with daily schedules subject to change based on patient needs. This opportunity allows the RN to make a meaningful impact in acute care nephrology and deliver critical, life-sustaining care as part of a clinical leader in kidney care.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in the state of practice
  • ADN required
  • Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)
  • Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible

Nice To Haves

  • BSN preferred
  • ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
  • CNN/CDN certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
  • Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
  • Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
  • Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
  • Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
