The Heritage Community is a residential treatment program for adolescents, ages 13 - 18. Our Nursing department provides psychiatric, dietary, and medicinal care for our students, and we currently seek to hire a full-time Registered Nurse to be a dynamic leader for our Nursing team! Responsibilities

Conduct initial nursing assessments on newly admitted students.
Perform assessments for illnesses, injuries, etc., and provide clear instructions for aftercare.
Pour, pass, and chart all scheduled medications to the students, as well as PRN's.
Maintain complete and accurate medical records of all youth to whom service is provided.
Administer TB tests and other vaccines as required.
Perform lab draws and drug screening tests as needed.
Report to medical emergencies on campus and work with emergency services if called in.
Communicate frequently with parents/guardians on the medicinal care of their child - answering inquiries, submitting requests, and appropriately handling complaints or grievances.
