As a Registered Nurse, you play a critical role in ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. You won’t just provide clinical care. You will lead, supervise, educate, and support both clients and staff. Requirements
- Active State of Michigan Registered Nurse License
- Current BCLS Certification
- Proficiency in Centricity, QuickMar, and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants
- Overseeing daily nursing activities, including training, coaching, and evaluating staff
- Supporting medical providers in delivering quality healthcare to clients
- Monitoring lab results and diagnostic reports
- Arranging laboratory testing and providing phlebotomy services as needed
- Educating clients and staff on health, growth, and treatment needs
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, contractual, and regulatory standards
- Monitoring equipment and supply quality control
- Reviewing client health complaints and responding appropriately
- Maintaining timecards and leave requests for assigned staff
- Conducting team meetings
- Using WHS technology platforms (Centricity, QuickMar, Microsoft Office)
- Participating in required trainings
- Serving as a mandated reporter under Michigan Child Protection Law
- Traveling to the WHS Vassar location at least one (1) day per week to support nursing operations and oversight
