Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing. New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years.
  • BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers.
  • Active Registered Nurse licensure.
  • Strong clinical judgment and skills grounded in biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences.

Nice To Haves

  • Membership in a related professional organization.
  • 1+ year full‑time or 2+ years part‑time acute care RN experience.
  • Specialty certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and ongoing patient and family assessments and document findings according to unit and TriHealth standards.
  • Develop and update individualized plans of care based on assessments, patient input, and established clinical pathways.
  • Communicate assessment findings and care plans effectively with physicians and the healthcare team.
  • Provide a safe, therapeutic care environment while upholding patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Complete all documentation and patient care tasks within expected timeframes.
  • Deliver patient and family education and health counseling as part of routine care.
  • Serve as a resource by training or guiding other staff within the specialty when appropriate.
