The RN Surveyor position is responsible for performing on site surveys and certification for nursing homes and intermediate care facilities for compliance to stae and federal regulations. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
  • Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to perform physical assessments and recognize changes in patient condition.
  • Proficiency in administering medications and treatments safely.
  • Strong communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Arkansas driver's license.
  • Extensive overnight travel within the state with occasional weekend and after-hours work.
  • Must become SMQT certified within six months of employment.
  • Must have good computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in either nursing home, utilization review or quality assurance.
  • Understanding of federal nursing home regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient health, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with medical orders.
  • Develop, implement, and update patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and wellness practices.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to plan and implement care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and comply with health regulations.
