About The Position
Atrium Health Lincoln is a 101-bed hospital, designed with the community in mind. The facility opened in 2010, replacing a family farm. History from this farm can be seen and found on our campus today. 300,000 reclaimed bricks from a local mill, Belding-Hausman Mill, were placed into the exterior of the hospital and represent our dedication to the community we serve. The campus also has a 1.2-mile public walking trail that encircles the campus, winding past ponds and through natural wooded areas left intact on the land. The campus also includes two medical office buildings that house many providers offices and services that serve our community. Lincolnton is a small town, located in the foothills of the NC Mountains with access to hundreds of trails for hiking and outdoor activities. This peaceful, rural town has much to offer families and those seeking a charming close-knit community, while also being within driving distance to the bustling city of Charlotte, NC, and the thriving community of Lake Norman. Atrium Health Lincoln Emergency Department, 25 bed unit, provides 24-hour emergency medical services to Lincoln County and surrounding communities. From broken bones and severe cuts to heart attacks and strokes, we are prepared to provide patients of all ages the highest level of emergency care. Our expert staff includes physicians who are board-certified in emergency medicine. Job Summary The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support required per policy guidelines.
- Current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state in which you work and reside or; if declaring a National License Compact (NLC) state as your primary state of residency, meet the licensure requirements in your home state; or for Non-National License Compact states, current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner required in the state where the RN works.
- Must speak and understand English in good understandable terms.
- Must have manual and finger dexterity.
- Physical abilities testing required.
