This role is rooted in clinical excellence and connection —giving you the time and support to truly know your residents while delivering high-quality, holistic care alongside highly respected geriatric physicians. Requirements

  • Eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina
  • Whether you’re early in your career or bring years of experience, a passion for person-centered care
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • Comfort with electronic health records

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct bedside care, including medication administration and treatments
  • Conduct clinical rounds and monitor resident conditions
  • Collaborate closely with care partners, interdisciplinary team members, and Duke geriatricians to support resident wellness
  • Communicate changes in condition and coordinate care with physicians and pharmacy partners
  • Contribute to care planning and documentation to support individualized care
  • Build meaningful connections through thoughtful, compassionate communication with residents and their families , helping them feel informed, supported, and truly cared for
